Keimya Sadeghi joined the Molecular Epidemiology Laboratory as a Senior Research Technician in October 2017. She contributes to studies by testing genetic and phenotypic markers in relation to cancer risk and progression.
Keimya graduated Summa Cum Laude from Ramapo College of New Jersey in 2015 with a BS in Biology and minor in Chemistry. Prior to joining the Molecular Epidemiology Lab, she worked as a Research Technician in the Hematology Oncology Tissue Bank at MSK for two years following the completion of her undergraduate studies.
She received her MS in Biotechnology with a concentration in Bioinformatics from the Johns Hopkins University Advanced Academic Programs in 2019. Keimya is excited to apply her new knowledge in the field of biotechnology and to exercise her passions in genetics and epidemiology to contribute to advancements in cancer and disease research throughout her career at MSK.
