I am a nurse practitioner who provides care for people with breast cancer. I see patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Basking Ridge in New Jersey.
I am certified by the American Nurses Credentialing Center and the Oncology Nursing Society as an Advanced Practice Nurse and an Advanced Oncology Certified Nurse Practitioner.
I am also certified as an Advanced Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Nurse Practitioner through the Hospice and Palliative Credentialing Center. I have been an advanced practice nurse in oncology (cancer care) since 1993.
I have worked with patients in an outpatient (clinic) as well as in an inpatient (hospital) setting. I specialize in caring for people with breast cancer who are in active treatment and also follow patients in breast cancer surveillance. This involves monitoring or watching for early signs of breast cancer in people who are at high risk.
As a nurse practitioner I support patients by managing their treatments and potential side effects, providing psychosocial support and patient education.
The cancer journey is unique for each patient, and I treat patients with warmth and empathy. I enjoy being an oncology nurse practitioner and I feel fortunate and grateful to be able to care for patients at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center.
When I am not working, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends. I enjoy skiing, music, walking, and swimming.
