In addition I evaluate and treat patients with pre-existing renal diseases or hypertension who require cancer treatment.

I am a medical oncologist who specializes in the treatment of head and neck cancers, including head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, salivary gland cancer, thyroid cancer, and skin cancers other than melanoma. I also serve as Chief of the Head and Neck Oncology Service within the Division of Solid Tumor Oncology in the Department of Medicine at MSK.

Soy oncólogo médico especializado en el tratamiento de los diferentes tipos de cáncer de cabeza y cuello, entre ellos el carcinoma de células escamosas de cabeza y cuello, el cáncer de glándulas salivales, el cáncer de tiroides y otros tipos de cáncer de la piel distintos del melanoma. También me desempeño como jefe del Servicio de Oncología de Cabeza y Cuello dentro de la División de Oncología de Tumores Sólidos en el Departamento de Medicina de MSK.

I’m a pediatric hematologist-oncologist on the MSK Kids team. I treat blood disorders using bone marrow (stem cell) transplantation and gene therapy. I focus on a group of diseases called hemoglobinopathies. This includes sickle cell disease and thalassemia. I see patients at Memorial Hospital, the main hospital at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK). I also conduct laboratory and clinical research on cellular therapies.
