At MSK Kids, you’ll meet a team of world-renowned, compassionate experts who will be by your family’s side from the very start.
The office practices of our physicians are located within our outpatient unit, the Pediatric Ambulatory Care Center, located on the ninth floor of 1275 York Avenue. You can arrive through any entrance to Memorial Sloan Kettering and ride the hospital’s “B” elevators to the ninth floor.
After checking in at our reception desk, you will meet with our Patient Financial Services representative to register, confirm your insurance coverage, and learn about the institution’s financial assistance programs. Please bring a copy of your child’s birth certificate.
Reception staff will then assist you with any needs prior to meeting with your child’s doctor.
Our recreation facilities and staff are available for your child to help make this time easier. Our fully equipped facility includes computers, games, music, and daily group activities, in addition to special events. The social worker on your child’s care team is also available to assist you and your family at all times.
If diagnostic tests or scans are ordered, expert child life and nursing staff are available to inform and assist your child in age-appropriate ways to reduce anxieties and make this process as easy as possible.
