I have been a physician assistant for more than 23 years and began my career in the emergency department. I came to thoracic surgery at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center (MSK) in 2004, where I had the privilege of working in the operating room with Dr. Rusch as my Chief of Surgery. I also took care of the patients in the hospital and saw patients in clinic.
After having children and moving, I left MSK to work part-time in the emergency department at Weil Cornell Medical Center until a part-time position became available at MSK in 2016. I have had the honor of working with some of the most innovative and well-known thoracic surgeons in the world, including Dr. Valerie Rusch, Dr. Manjit Bains, and Dr. David Jones. The most rewarding part of my job is speaking with and caring for my patients. I enjoy educating, encouraging, and empowering them to improve their overall health.
