A deep interest in Scientific computing and Biomedical engineering helped Lohit dedicate hismy professional career to High Performance computing. Along with a Masters in Electrical Engineering and Biomedical Engineering specialization - he had worked for years together to connect the dots for various issues that appear in a complex system such as HPC and thereby improve on skills such as IBM Spectrum Scale/GPFS storage, Sun Grid Engine scheduling software, Puppet Automation, Openstack Cloud, Infrastructure Deployment and various Bioinformatics applications. As an HPC system administrator at MSKCC, he strives to support scientists as an invisible engine running in the background, to keep HPC at its peak performance and efficiency.
