Our newest class is available to try for a special four-week series this October. Our expert movement therapists can help you reclaim control of your strength and spirit in this dance-inspired fitness class.
Learn isometric movements integrated from ballet, jazz, yoga, and pilates to tone thighs, lift the seat, strengthen abdominals, and shape arms. Barre Fusion is a low to medium impact total body workout modified for every person, every class.
Our signature aerobics class will help patients of all ages and abilities increase their endurance for everyday activities. Utilizing a variety of small weights, this class helps decrease breathlessness and fatigue, improve muscle tone and flexibility.
Focused Fitness for Women is geared for our female patient populations, particularly breast and GYN cancer survivors. Common side effects these patients experience after surgery can include lymphedema or “frozen shoulder”. This class can help reduce the risk of lymphedema and improve range of motion if the condition has already been diagnosed. Exercises in this class will target areas of the body, including abs, legs, seat, lower back and thighs, without jumping and running that can put strain on the joints.
Our PEX class pays attention to the unique needs our men patients and survivors share: to rebuild their muscle strength, improve balance and increase endurance. Through cardio sequences and weight training, PEX offers men of all ages and stage of treatment a fun and challenging workout that improve their health and confidence.
Strong Bones & Muscular Health is an exercise program for those who have osteoporosis or are at risk of developing it. Exercise helps to maintain bone density and stimulate bone growth. This class uses walking, aerobics, and balance and weight training to strengthen bones.
Qi Gong combines movement and meditation, and can be practiced by individuals of any age or fitness level. Regular practice of Qi Gong can reduce stress, increase stamina and balance, improve sleep, and instill a sense of harmony.
Try yoga in a supportive and soothing environment customized to you. In these classes, you will learn a variety of classic yoga breathing methods and postures, and can work on improving your flexibility, lifting your mood, and learning how to better control your breathing.
