Yanis Tazi, Graduate Student, Tri-I Institutional PhD Program
Yanis obtained a BS and MS in Computer Science, Data Science and Physics at Ecole des Mines de Paris with a minor in Mathematical Finance at the National University of Singapore .
He also obtained a BS in Theoretical Mathematics and Statistics at Paris Dauphine University with a minor in Geometry and Topology at the University of Quebec in Montreal .
He has work experience in Data Science applied to neuroscience and e-commerce in London and Trading in New York .
He also has research experience at Columbia University in Machine Learning and Statistics and in France in Deep Learning for breast cancer detection.
Yanis is interested in developing machine learning and statistical models for cancer research and integrating imaging with genomics data using deep learning models.
He is currently developing unsupervised learning models for AML patient classification as well as statistical learning and stochastic models for prognosis , disease evolution and treatment response predictions.
Yanis recently joined the Tri-I PhD program in Computational Biology and Medicine at Cornell University.
