Wungki Park, MD, MS
Gastrointestinal Oncologist
My Role at MSKWe post reviews for MSK healthcare providers who have at least 30 patient experience surveys completed. If you do not see reviews for a provider, it may be because they do not yet have enough survey responses, or the provider may not be part of the group of healthcare providers included in the survey.
Only outpatient providers are included in the survey. Healthcare providers who only work in the hospital or in urgent care are not included in the survey. Pathologists or researchers who do not provide direct care to patients do not have reviews.

About Me
- Assistant Attending Physician
I am a medical oncologist who specializes in caring for people with cancers of the pancreas, and bile system.
I am part of a team of experts from many different areas, including surgeons, radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, interventional radiologists, and pathologists, to name a few. We work together to provide the best care for our patients and their families. I also partner with cancer biologists, immunologists, and bioinformaticians to identify and develop better treatments for our patients through clinical trials.

My research is focused on understanding how cancers do or do not respond to immunotherapy, which is treatment that involves using the body’s own immune system to attack cancer. In recent years, it has been incredibly exciting to see some patients have excellent responses to this type of treatment. Our mission is to develop new strategies so that more people with cancer can benefit from immunotherapy.
