Current Research Interest 

Akriti joined the group as a research biostatistician in August 2019. She received her masters degree in Biostatistics from Rutgers University in 2016. She collaborates with researchers in health outcomes research group primarily with Dr. Mitchell whose research interests include understanding the interaction between financial incentives and physician behavior. She also works with Dr. Salz on projects aimed at improving the quality of care for cancer survivors, for instance - investigating trends in pain management (via opioids) among cancer survivors. Her current research interests include understanding overprescribing, opioids epidemic as well as benefits of art therapy in cancer treatment and survivorship phase.
