Michael Kharas lab
Molecular Pharmacology Program
Cancer biologist Michael Kharas studies RNA regulators of self-renewal in both normal and leukemic hematopoiesis.
The Jason Lewis Lab Group
Molecular Pharmacology Program
Radiochemist Jason Lewis develops molecular imaging agents for the imaging and therapy of cancer.
The Yueming Li Lab
Chemical Biology Program
Dr. Yueming Li studies disease mechanism of Cancer and Alzheimer’s, with the goal of developing novel therapeutics for clinical use.
The Lima Lab
Structural Biology Program
The Lima laboratory studies mechanisms underlying RNA processing as well as post-translational protein modification by ubiquitin-like proteins.
Pictured: Stephen Long laboratory
Structural Biology Program
The Long laboratory investigates the molecular mechanisms of ion channels and enzymatic membrane proteins and seeks to use these discoveries to benefit humanity.
The Minkui Luo Lab
Chemical Biology Program
Chemical Biologist Minkui Luo develops cutting-edge tools, technologies and concepts to annotate functions of protein-posttranslational modifications and designs inhibitors for cancer therapies.
Dinshaw Patel Lab Group
Structural Biology Program
The Patel laboratory studies the structural biology of macromolecular recognition, regulation and catalysis. Ongoing projects include structure-function studies of the CRISPR-Cas and cGAS-STING surveillance pathways, on the role of Structure Maintenance Chromosome complexes in mediating DNA double strand break repair, on the role of histone and DNA methylation in epigenetic regulation and on RNA-mediated processes ranging from riboswitches and ribozymes to those governing siRNA and piRNA pathways.
Nikola Pavletich Lab Group
Structural Biology Program
The Pavletich laboratory studies the structural biology of pathways that control cell growth and maintain the integrity of the genome.
The David Scheinberg Lab
Molecular Pharmacology Program
Molecular Pharmacology Program Member David Scheinberg focuses on the discovery and development of novel, specific immunotherapeutic agents and targeted nanodevices for cancer therapy.
Stewart Shuman Lab Group
Molecular Biology Program
The goal of my research is to understand the mechanisms and structures of enzymes that perform and regulate essential nucleic acid transactions.
