Find a Low-Grade Glioma Expert

Our treatment team includes specialists in all the disciplines necessary to provide comprehensive, personalized care for people with low-grade glioma. The core members of the team include specialists in neurology, neurosurgery, neuro-oncology, radiation oncology, neuropathology, and neuroradiology.

Members of the team meet weekly at Brain Tumor Board meetings, where doctors and other specialists discuss patients and develop an individualized treatment plan for each.

The team is also joined by experts in rehabilitation, neuropsychology, seizure management, and other areas that can help to address the complete range of needs you may have over the course of your treatment. Nurses who specialize in caring only for patients with brain tumors also play an important role in your treatment team.

Including low-grade glioma experts from many different disciplines in your treatment team ensures that all possible approaches to your care will be considered, and that you will receive the combination of treatments that is best for you.
