Our pancreatic cancer team is one of the most experienced in the country. Every year, more than 800 people come to Memorial Sloan Kettering for treatment of a pancreatic cancer or a pancreatic cyst.
The group of more than 30 experts includes surgeons, medical oncologists, radiation oncologists, gastroenterologists, radiologists, and pathologists. They are recognized worldwide for their strengths in diagnosing and treating tumors of the pancreas.
The team meets regularly to discuss patients’ medical information. Team members work together to give patients an accurate diagnosis and develop individual treatment plans. Having representatives from many different areas involved in your care ensures that you’ll receive the treatment that is best for you.
Many of our doctors are also clinical investigators. This means patients under our care have access to some of the newest approaches and can participate in clinical trials.
